Taylor Swift shows her ally PRIDE! with her new music "You Need To Calm Down"

Dinner is served. Happy Meal for the kids...
And meanwhile everybody - Here's Taylor Swift coming all the way through in a glorious celebration of #PRIDE!

Swift tweeted, "Asked a few friends to be in the You Need To Calm Down video..." And indeed she had done exactly that!

Her new song "You Need To Calm Down" is streaming live now and features a host of cameos from our favorite LGBTQ folks like Laverne Cox, Ellen DeGeneres, Billy Porter, Adam Rippon, RuPaul & a host of Ru Girls glamouring the house down boots!

The song targets homophobes & transphobes and we are all the way here for it. We are loving it like a goddamn BigMac and fries with a vanilla shake!!

"Control your urges to scream about all the people you hate," she advises the haters. "'Cause shade never made anybody less gay."

Swift has evolved from what some would call an apolitical whisper. More recently though, she has finally turned up the volume, allowing her political voice to soar as high as some of the notes she's been known to hit.

In fact - she was quoted as telling Elle magazine in March that, "I’m finding my voice in terms of politics."

Earlier this month Swift was proudly acknowledged by Ellen DeGeneres' for creating the Change.org petition to support the Equality Act, which at current count has some 235,396 signatures towards its goal of 300,000.

She has brazenly and publicly added "Support the Equality Act" as her Twitter bio as well.

"You Need to Calm Down" -- an obvious embracing of LGBTQ+ as a much-needed ally and simultaneously a fresh, fun, upbeat, library-is-all-the-way-open read of transphobic & homophobic haters -- is the second single from "Lover," which is scheduled for release on Aug. 23.

The song is the follow-up to "ME!," which featured Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco and hit a high on the charts at No. 2 as a peak on the Billboard Hot 100.
